Movie Rating: 3/5
Movie Review: It is not just ‘Olle Title’ for the film of Ramu Enterprises! It is ‘Shille’ inside the auditorium for more than 20 times with applaud from the audience!
The film released on Varamahalakshmi Day ‘Raj Vishnu’ is typical and combination of Sharan and Chikkanna is the first big asset. Second is the performance of actors like Srinivasamurthy who is ‘Shivananjappa’ that is pinch hitter in the film.
With some slight alteration to the original film ‘Rajani Murugan’, the film ‘Raj Vishnu’ picks up the momentum right from the first song of the film. Then the series of developments featuring Sharan, Chikkanna, Srinivasamurthy and other brings a good lift to the film.
Who is this ‘Raj Vishnu’. That is Sharan for you. At his birth two friends (Gopi and Suchindra Prasad) fans of Dr Rajakumar and Dr Vishnuvardhana keep the name as choice, but grandfather suggest let us keep ‘Raj Vishnu’ as the name for just born. There is beautiful Lavanya (Vaibhavi Shandilya) in the family of Suchindra Prasad. Friends at the time birth decide that they should become relatives. So the match for Lavanya and Raj Vishnu is by birth. In the later days it turns feud. Raj Vishnu only task in life is to take care of his grandfather Shivananjappa (Srinivasamurthy).
The huge family of Shivananjappa is abroad. He gets care from Raj Vishnu and that is everything for him. It is the wish of Shivananjappa that property share of Rs.6 crore out of Rs.30 crores should go to Raj Vishnu.
The trouble starts now with wrong claimants emerging. How the property is divided and Shivananjappa another heir surface to give conclusion to the film!
Sharan forging ahead with good looks, lovely costumes, fit dialogues for his image has danced very well in this film. Chikkanna as his close friend gives some laughter. Sadhu Kokila in different get up is another plus point. The beauty to watch Vaibhavi has great future ahead in cinema. She has serene looks and talented in her performance.
